"Let there be light!" <- from ~~someone-that-i-forgot.~~ OK RR told me that line was from God. But why does it keep triggering images of a unidentified superhero holding a fist in the air and proclaiming that line!?

I need to put a disclaimer before I start on anything else.

I am no DC comics fan. Or rather, I did not even read a page of them. Yes. Not even Superman. Not even ~~Spiderman (He from DC??).~~

See.. I need to actually wiki to differentiate them. (Spidey is from Marvel, BATMAN is from DC)

So how closely the movie follows the comic, I would have never known. But I would say, the movie lacks the omph! factor somehow.

Sure Ryan Reynolds is hot and all, Blake Lively is prettily pretty, there's still something missing. And a lot of "ticklish" (intentionally or not) scenes.

I had to admit, I was trying hard not to attempt a "Let our powers combine!" antic in the theater everytime the Green Lantern Corps did that.

Its the ring effect. And perhaps all the green-ness.

"And when your powers combine.. I, am Captain Planet!"

"I pledge alliance to.. a lantern!"

And moments before that.. "To Infinity and Beyond!!"

Now THAT line has become general knowledge. And that's what I call a successful movie! The whole theater roared in fits of laughter at that Buzz LightYear attempt. (Is Green Lantern and Buzz LightYear even supposed to be in the same era?)

And the mask.. the mask.. THE Mask that looks like Green Hornet.

And.. AND THAT balcony scene. It relates me to Peter Pan (green thing floating and hovering and buzzing around), whereas RR is trying her best not to laugh or end up in hackles of coughs with her Aladdin memories.

Effects-wise, I would say the CGI for the helicopter crashing scene was well done, that uniform was cool, but the rest of the show are jus pretty normal.

From the looks of it, there is definitely going to be a Part II (they even request the audience to stay put for a short scene). Which, I believe I will miss. Y? The storyline's pretty predictable and the script is kinda cheesy. Not much to look forward to.

On a sidenote: Errrmm.... HAHHAHA~ Its tough being green!

The magnets are not very friendly. Couple of them keeps toppling over with any slight movements. Otherwise the sculpturings are still as cute as ever!

A 35 episodes family-oriented serial along the likes of never-ending taiwan drama "爱", with viewership somehow able to dethrone the almightly "爱" that occupied the 7pm slot for n*10000 years and claimed top spot for that couple of weeks.

Story revolves around the Seow family, with matriarch 林宝珠（李司琪）helming the tight reins around her 2 boys whom she had raised single-handedly after the death of her husband by an accident, while managing the family ting-kat catering business. She maintains an iron rule for the family that each and every member have to be home for dinner at 7pm, no excuses tolerated and everyone takes turns to cook the meal.

The elder son, 萧建业（林明伦）, is the homely and sensible one who does the business development and marketing for the business. His wife, 严秋桦（许美珍）being a free-spirit however, prefers to have a home of their own and is always rebelling against 宝珠's traditions and strict regime, thus putting 建业 in a tough position.

The baby of the family, 建海（方展发）, constantly requires other members of the family to keep a lookout for him as he is too gullible and kind-hearted. He manages the operations of the business but is often seen hands-on helping out with the deliveries when the staff are short-handed. On one of these occasions, he noticed the authorities attempting to chop off the tree which he had fond memories of and steps up to protect it, and to his surprise, he met the crush of his younger days, 茶碗珍/王佳珍（瑞恩）.

茶碗珍, so nicknamed by 建海 as she loves the chawanmushi made by the stall in the school canteen which was run by 宝珠 before the business developed into an established label in the food delivery industry, works in the National Parks Authority for her love towards trees. Similar to 建海, 茶碗珍has a kind-hearted soul and is always helping others in difficulty.

As the story develops, 茶碗珍 gets two-timed by her devious and possessive boyfriend/colleague 白子俊, and ends up marrying 建海 for the notion that at least 建海 will take good care of her even though she does not have feelings for him then. It was only during their first official date and meet-the-parents did she see the environment that 建海 lived in and realise that he is not the humble delivery boy that she had thought he was and that his brother is 建业, whom both had feelings for each other during university days but did not develop from then on.

Coincidentally, 秋桦 only realised that the girl 建海 is marrying is the same one that had embarrassed her in public (by accident) when he brought her back for the first time. And because she could not stand the way the soft spoken 茶碗珍 is agreeable to the ridiculous rules of the family, coupled with the approval and biasness of 宝珠 and 奶奶(金銀姬）towards the well-mannered little daughter-in-law, she sets out to devise little tricks to make 茶碗珍 fall out of favour.

This show (ok actually all shows featuring Rui En as lead) had me returning home diligently before 9pm to switch on the tv, in the process turning down quite a few dinners. Seriously not for the plot but for the acting.

The strong performance from the whole cast totally makes up for the unrealistic storyline, which I-dunno-why but it managed to make people chase episodes after episodes (probably it figures out the "爱" viewership potion). Everybody is linked to everyone else in the cast and one has to be really really "lucky" to get a cheating/over-possessive ex-boyfriend, an inflexible/unreasonable matriarch, a scheming/vengeful sister-in-law who has some dark dark secrets herself and a mummy's boy for husband all in a lifetime.

But I was so engrossed that I was actually cursing and swearing at 秋桦/子俊/Mother, feeling pitiful for 建海佳珍, laughing at 奶奶/佳珍's dad, etc over Twitter and FB.

Rui En totally transformed into 佳珍, which possibly is going to garner her another BA nomination with her natural portrayal (though I prefer drama queen 雅樂 from her previous show more), unless there's some dark truth behind the awards (opps!). The mannerism, kindness, hatred, not too much, not too little, just nice just right acting/living the character. It can all be seen in her eyes.

And the cryings are just so .... [I am speechless] thumbs up thumbs up

(Sidenote: Not sure if its make up or what but her face is probably 4 tones fairer than her body? Ermm.. over-whitening? There were a few scenes where the lighting were literally reflecting off her face like a reflector board! :p Weird la..)

Cynthia Koh did a really good job with 秋桦 making people hate her and then surprised everyone in the last 30 min of the series turning all demure and nice. Another BA nominee!

I'm torn between the 2 of them. Can co-win?

Isn't the first time that Pierre lands such a goody guy role but there are some notable scenes which Pierre did very well that sets 建海 apart from the rest. One of the memorable ones is of him signing the separation agreement on the hospital bed. Really hurts.

Darren wasn't very prominent until the last 5 ep and especially the part he cried in Mother's arms.

Apple Hong was outstanding in her role as the sister-in-law in 佳珍's family side. Best Supporting Actress nominee? Oh Belinda as well, for behaving so much like a spinster in her role as 宝珠's sister-in-law!

Of cos there's still the powerful Mother, 德明 (Apple's fostered kid), etc etc. Thanks to 奶奶 and 佳珍's dad for bringing the laughters. And also the choreographers for the nice clip of 建业秋桦 drowning their sorrows with liquor.

Giving it 90 points with 10 points deducted for crappy/predictable story development.

宝家卫国

Sponsered by Ministry of Defence and aired around National Day, 宝家卫国 serves as a showcase for Singapore's arsenal and also our prepareness towards total defence. What's good is that the storyline balances the slice of life plots with the artillery display rather well, that adds on to the show's "viewability" whatever this word may mean.

Storyline centres around the Po family, with 黄文永 as the militarian head of the family, 宝鹏举, who brought up his 4 kids alone after his wife died. 洪慧芳 plays 刘亚妹, who is actually the sister of 鹏举's wife and helped raise the 4 kids. She has a thing for 鹏举 but the feeling was not reciprocated till 鹏举 got cheated and realised who is concerned for him.

宝文精(郑斌辉）is the eldest son of the family and thou he is a regular in the army as a commando, brave and all, he has failed numerous times trying to woo fellow officer 欧阳佩佩（陈靓宣）, who had a crush in 宝文忠（王禄江）since schooling days.

文忠 is the 2nd son, a real gentleman who is often too caring towards the opposite gender, thus attracting himself to some unnecessary romantic forwards. He believes in the special feeling that The One will give and he found it in 小诺（姚懿珊）, a girl left with a limp after an accident that took the life of her boyfriend.

宝文卫（瑞恩）plays the 3rd kid of the brood, and the only female in the family. However, due to 鹏举 treating his kids like the army cadets, 文卫 grew up a tomboy, which led to her ex-boyfriend cheating on her cos he finds her not feminine enough. Later on in the show, she had a crush on 巫成议（沈倾掞）, a photographer who is in fact a terrorist attempting to rescue his brother from prison, but eventually falls in love with colleague Picasso (方展发）, whom she was at loggerheads with in the beginning.

The youngest kid, 宝文国（鹤天赐）, is a fresh grad preparing to be enlisted for NS but is reluctant to train for it, which leads to arguments with 鹏举, who finds him a letdown compared to his 2 brothers. Eventually he was awarded the Best Cadet which made 鹏举 changed his attitude towards him.

Bryan looks extremely yummy-licious here whereas TPH is rather cute as a dorky commando. Rui En gets another typical role during those days but isn't very outstanding. Watch for her funny little antics thou(read: slapping guys on the body *piak!*). Oh and this is the first time pairing of Rui-Pierre. Me likes!

過好年

新傳媒2010年的賀嵗劇，故事旋繞收養楊小冬（瑞恩）的董建業（陳樹城）那破散的家庭。

大兒子，董金星（陳天文），因爲被父親一口咬定是他沒把母親抓緊而讓她跌死，縱而把他趕出家門。
小兒子，董木星（林明倫），成天想著飛黃騰達但又不努力，拿了建業的房子去貸款而被趕出家門。
女兒，董水星（郭淑賢），年級輕輕被男友搞大了肚子，讓建業氣得痛打她一頓再趕出家門，導致她腳瘸了，又難產影響了日後身孕。

冰山公主首次嘗試顛覆以往角色，演出天真樂觀傻不隆冬的楊小冬，成天念著弟子規還亂解釋一通。角色，真的，很惹人愛，很不瑞恩。也難怪領了2011年紅星大獎最受歡迎女角色。

金沛晟飾演野口成康，董建業大兒子，董金星的兒子，董建業的孫子。隻身瞞著家人到新加坡來找失散的爺爺，跟著小冬團團轉地尋找建業的兒女們而漸漸地喜歡小冬，卻又遭到霸道母親的強烈反對。

這張劇照很可愛！

故事編寫得不錯。應節劇到最後都闔家團圓。只是野蠻的野口菜子會到建業家吃團圓飯還低聲下氣叫父親就有點沒交代得很好。性情也轉得太快了吧。

想笑一笑，溫馨一下，這劇挺不錯的。

主要還是看冰山公主搞怪！

破繭而出

警匪片。由酷到沒話説，整出戯也只笑了不到10次的安小茜（瑞恩）帶領重案組一隊，包括衝動魯莽的歐陽力（陳漢瑋），冷靜細膩的狄倫（曹囯輝)，一面偵破私會黨的内部糾紛，連續強暴碎屍殺人案，男妓謀殺案等，一面與恐怖組織Dragontooth對立。苦苦追求安小茜的法醫胡希存（王沺裁），精神輔導師兼好友溫婉柔（林湘萍）也各自有他們的故事。

應該是這出戯讓瑞恩的知名度提升了幾倍。網友們紛紛為她沒入圍2007紅星大獎最佳女主角（林湘萍凴溫婉柔這個角色奪下此獎）而起了一場小風波。其實，安小茜這個角色除了性格與造型讓人印象深刻外（整天polo tee配牛仔褲與球鞋，嚴肅認真的表情），還真的沒什麽讓人覺得是個該提名的作品。有幾場感情戯瑞恩是發揮得不錯，但就只嫌沒那麽多機會詮釋。

故事，題材很新鮮，雖然有點小over，但還可以接受。與〈最火搭檔〉比較，故事方面我會較喜歡〈最〉的構思與設阱。當然我還是偏心的啦，因爲〈最〉有我兒時的偶像，莉萍姐，還有最新的偶像，盧小姐！

真的有讓我幻想，如果那時Poly過後在還沒鎖定工作的那段時間裏真的跑去儅警察（那時真的真的有想過如果還沒工作邀約的話就去儅警察），現在的我會是怎樣的呢？

p.s. 可是我因爲太討厭跑步(煉球時被操得太過火了），而拖延報考警校的決定。那時也剛好經紀公司隔一兩天打來幫我安排了在現任公司打三個月合約的臨時工。

所以夢想終歸夢想。現在去的話，從初級刑警開始，薪金上得減半，而且右膝蓋也不行了。。又不是直接能儅CID那麽簡單。所以，夢想還是做個夢想一想。心頭上那燃燒著的火焰，就讓現實慢慢澆熄吧。

再想了一想，其實做演員最好，什麽職業都能試一試。哈哈！

Yes. All the hardwork that you have put in recently have raised the quality of Channel 8 shows and yes, people do see and appreciate your efforts. (Even my aunt and granny were rooting for you)

I'm on a 瑞恩 drama marathon since Thurs and have potatoed thru 破茧而出 and digesting 过好年 at the moment. Seriously speaking, the transition between roles was done so smoothly and discreetly that there is no resemblence of 安晓茜 in 杨小冬, nor 杨小冬 in 叶思琪, nor 叶思琪 in 胡小曼, nor 胡小曼 in 章雅乐, nor 章雅乐 in 王佳珍.. u get the drift. Ok probably its easier with the cool cat roles but the others are totally out of 瑞恩's pattern.

(Mediacorp got to improve their skills on naming characters. That's a lot of xiaos used.)

Her eyes, mannerism and everything, entirely shifts from one role to the other, something I do not see often in the others. And she is able to characterise the character, which is something I applaud as well. (Think of 安晓茜 and u rem her short hair polo tee tough look, think of 杨小冬 and u recall her oversized tee, shorts and silly grin, etc)

So although 瑞恩 has not been casted for any 300000 ep dramas yet, but this I would say might be good for her in that thou she has to put in double the effort to make the audience remember her, she actually has more chances to prove herself with all the diverse roles she received (which actually convinced me that this lass has the best acting chops in Mediacorp amongst the uprising 阿姐s at the moment).

Here's the hug from 大包 which shows that she's not that lonely and cold after all.

So, 瑞恩, you deserved it. (Even thou receiving that award actually puts you in an uncomfortable moment on stage with millions of eyes staring at you live :p)

And thanks for making me utilise the 32" TV in my room.

上面那句, 應該是我從新傳媒劇集中聽過最棒的了.

當時劇情講述, 章雅樂(瑞恩)一而再, 再而三地被始終對成天在國外逍遙, 又不太體諒自己的女朋友專一的文濤(方展發)之間曖昧不清的關係感到厭煩, 吵了幾句而冒出體諒的話.

那句, 很感人. 因為, 那包含了度量. 因為, 那承擔了信任.

不簡單.

哇, 拖了好久才博這連續劇, 拖到連范阿姐接棒的戲都播完了.

會追, 只為了要看很"hiao", 很drama queen 的瑞恩. 追了看了之後, 發覺還蠻搞笑的, 但因為有四對情侶的關係難免注意力需要分散. 其實Pierre和瑞恩也蠻耐看的.

瑞恩在當中飾演一位患有公主病的千金小姐. 父母在意外中過世, 留下她掌管KL著名婚紗店生意. 但她成天只會逛街好玩, 被人把生意給騙走了. 朋友一一知道她破產後便離開了她. 身無分文時, 她想到父母在新加坡的一家婚紗店有股份, 就千里迢迢過來試圖想讓咪咪姐飾演的阿姨角色把她媽媽的股份給賣了. 咪咪姐不想她再重蹈覆轍, 就強迫她留在店裡幫忙, 讓她改過自新. 其他的就由此發展下去...

其實瑞恩很用心, 會為角色設計一些小動作, 讓角色活起來. 在這裡, 吐吐舌頭, 聳聳肩膀, 小可愛又不over.

越來越欣賞她了.

Hmm.. Ok. I was interested in Yuuno cos I thot HE was a SHE, and she looked like Cagalli. It was only until I went to wiki HER, that I found out SHE's a HE!

Ahh complicating..

As for Chrono, it was a, ok, since I bidded for Yuuno, I might as well bid for Chrono since he looks kinda cute and I need some male energy in my coop (before I found out Yuuno is a HE) and I can save on shipping!

Tanya and The Cities 蔡健雅亞洲巡迴演唱會 2011 Live Concert

終于等到了。

一直在期盼兩位創作型歌手的演唱會：戴佩妮 - 去年上云頂看了。就只剩下蔡健雅！

終于終于有消息。只是新加坡的這場較晚公佈，差點一股勁兒飛到臺北看3月26日那場的了。

錯過了開始售賣的日期，但還買到蠻前的位置。票房真的不太好。不明白。蔡小姐的歌明明都很紅，但人們就是喜歡砸錢看偶像派的。

喜歡蔡小姐已經很久了，應該是由[Luck/好想放假]被用於連續劇的主題曲/插曲那時開始。不記得了，就是很久很久以前，然後就是[無底洞]（KTV一直唱）/ [雙栖動物]那時。只是她很少在新加坡跑宣傳，很少很少有機會看現場。

比較喜歡她的英語專輯，尤其是Jupiter那張，很耐聼，在iPod裏不懂轉了幾十圈。

回到出發點開唱，顯然的，她很緊張。前兩首歌的音響也出了狀況，本來還以爲發生什麽事，難道坐前面音響會大到厛不到演唱？停頓部分，音樂沒了，蔡小姐也突然blur去，工作人員把吉他交給她，她卻東張西望在找水，然後說了一些開場白，又突然忘詞。想了想那句想說的成語，想了想，想了想。。。

“鄉親父老。。。”

哈哈哈！！哎喲，慌得很可愛咧！哈哈！

給她一把吉他后，她顯然地比較有安全感。

舞臺背景穿梭于城市景色之間，剛入席時覺得還蠻單調的，開場之後就哇，很多姿多彩。旁邊那兩柱Scrolling LED Panel也蠻interesting的。

換了衣服后。OMG!! PINK！！Totally Sex and The Cities!

那戶窗是白色的。我沒色盲。下一首歌就變白了！

偶爾流露的表情。

還真的是粉紅到。。很不Tanya。哈哈！

來到了印度。Tanya很relax的一段。彈著吉他，想怎麽唱就怎麽唱。開心就好。完完全全就是喜歡唱歌的Tanya。若在Esplanade會比較有feel。還好我坐前面，只是那支麥克風很搶鏡。。

Umbrella 和Pokerface加了印度元素變得很好玩。那些印度調調也讓人很想接下去唱[神奇]。

Tanya 還是blur。有一段樂手都在看她，她囘了一臉blur look，過了幾秒才恍然大悟。

都在等她開始。。

哈哈哈！

然後又有一段她是真的走來走去望來望去。。

“水囁？？？？？”(很緊張地問一旁的樂手）

怎麽這麽可愛怎麽這麽不符合大衆認識的Tanya！？ omg~

陳潔儀是特別來賓，與Tanya合唱了[Home]。

這次的Encore聲是我聼過最有持力的。也許觀衆習慣了其他歌手捧場做戲的Encore，當Tanya謝完觀衆後下臺時，觀衆們還真的怕這次完了不知何時還有機會，都紛紛地鼓起掌打拍子。一兩分鐘后還是持續不斷，直到樂手奏起音樂才緩緩靜下來。

這個，也許她應該感到欣慰。新加坡還是有支持她的，只是都很含蓄，默默地支持，連Encore都沒有瘋狂地喊叫，很一致地打著拍子。

最後穿的晚禮服。（很像有兩patch濕濕的，喝水太急？）

最滿意的一張。完完全全蔡健雅。

夜晚，不High。沒有瘋狂的連續尖叫沒有群體站起來搖擺。但，就是很Enjoy。幾乎所有歌曲都不用看歌詞地跟著唱。（炫耀中）也讓觀衆看到了Tanya的真blur面。

不只Tanya，連樂手們都很Enjoy。Tanya下臺了觀衆離席了他們還在玩著樂器與音樂指導一起Jam，仿佛是他們的演唱會一樣。感覺很好。

當然，全都是我偏心的評語。(^.^)

被騗了。真的。

當時的宣傳文案中明明有蔡小姐的名字。真的因爲這樣才去買票。買票后一兩個星期成績揭曉時被澆灑了興致，還以爲至少還有蔡小姐可以期待，怎知道等了一個晚上她都沒出現！！

幾失望很多下。。

會比較喜歡在浮動舞臺舉行的那一屆。無聊了還可以去買東西吃，說說別人的閒話，或拍拍商業區的夜景。室内體育館雖然不用擔心天氣，但悶了只好玩玩FB，或繼續拍照，又或者學忍者變石頭。

Was a fine afternoon doing nothing constructive till I heard some protest noises from the residents of the shelf.

Ok ok Luffy, pls get Zoro to put away his katana..

So starts the task of ridding the blanket of dust from them.

And after brushing with a mild Mama Ling-mong solution, they have their place to dry on my to-be-washed cushion cover.

Took me almost the whole day for only the Styling and Locations portions cos I was submerging them for abt 5 min while I watch Shana, and took a nap in between.

Needs to give them a shower room to bath themselves!

Got these at Simply Toys of Plaza Singapura during the heydays of collection.

The background allows speech to be written into the not so obvious speech bubbles but I din do so. The little figures measures about probably 1cm with the mafia families being the cutest of all.

Only costed me about 30 bucks but this eventually became one of those classified as space wasters as it comes in odd numbers, cant stack them, and the background isn't allowing visibility to the back..

My first OP preorder to Latendo, which also kickstarted the collection, after much psycho-ing from RR.

It wasn't cheap (at $90+ for full box of 12, 2 extras, which I thankfully had gotten Sanji and Zoro, the popular ones), and RR was going limited-run-kinda-stuff.

Not that I regretted the purchase since its nice and all but.. ITS SUPER SPACE CONSUMING! Had to stack them up when more sets migrated into my room and later on, the stack ended up in my cd cabinet.

Could rem that Zoro was the hardest to fix with 3000 parts of the swords, and Robin's hands were mind-bongling me.

And I got the Luffy secret variant (aka the one with the devil fruit which Reedy was saying could have cost 100 bucks on its own in ebay. And I originally thot I had doubles =_=")!

Not much damage done to a country well prepared for occasional shakes of the earth.

Then comes March 11, 1.46pm (SG time). The 5th largest earthquake ever recorded in human history at 8.9 magnitude shook the whole of Japan (and the world) into a frenzy.

And I was Whatapp-ing RR couple of hours before about her friend going to Japan end Mar and that I had leave to clear but nowhere to go.

Immediate tsunami warnings were issued to coastal areas of Japan and countries around the Pacific Ring of Fire.

A frenzy of news followed.
Narita and Haneda airport suspends flight operations.
Railway services suspended.
Sendai airport and a few coastal towns were washed away by the onset tsunami.
Cosmo oil refinery in Chiba on fire.
Millions were left without electricity and water.
Emergency shelters were opened for refugee use.

As if the Great Hanshin Earthquake + 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami re-enactment wasn't enough, a potential Chernobyl attempts to continue the nightmare.
A nuclear power plant (Fukushima I) failed to shut down properly.
Japan declared its first State of Emergency.
Japan starts evacuation efforts around the nuclear power plant.
Feared radiation leak. Reactor unable to cool down. Evacuation expands to 20km surrounding the plant.
Death toll keeps rising as rescuers struggled to reach the victims amidst the tides and aftershocks.
A large explosion at Fukushima I plant on 12 March at 2:36 pm (SG time).

Or specifically, for Kino.

After seeing ~~him~~ her at AFAX months back, I was too infatuated by the =_= expression. And yes, I mistook her for a boy until I played the game and wondered why "he" is sounding so feminine until I did a wiki check. (^_^;)

So I scoured Ebay after AFAX, looking for the name, and saw the horrendously high price on it. USD 30+ for a nendoroid puchi? Got me thinking for quite a while.

Then I realised that its actually limited edition that comes with an NDS game and off I went looking for the game, hoping that the bundled price would be cheaper since I can use the game as well.

And I found it on Amazon with a reasonable price tag! USD 105.95 but with shipping costs of USD 28.90. Oh well, its still cheaper than buying Shana, Taiga and Kino (USD 30 - 40 each) puchis separately and I get a game to play with!

Game's not that hard to play with even thou its all in Japanese. Kinda Pokemon exploration style with battle card styled enemy fights.

100 Rogues

This is a FREAKING ADDICTIVE game app that I downloaded while it was free for a limited period. After that, it has been draining my iPhone battery while I navigate around the halls turn-based and slashing/shooting enemies all the while looking for a way to the exit.

What makes it so addictive? Hmm... I wonder.

The game design isn't very fantastic, more like throwing you back 20 years to the past playing pixellated games on DOS platform. Sound/music wise, not much as well. And there's NO FREAKING SAVE MODE!! Die = RESTART from SCRATCH!

Its a simple game, not difficult to master, yet encompasses most elements of an RPG.
Turn-based: Check.
Storyline: Check.
Enemy killing: Check.
Strategy: Check.
Physical & Magical Attacks: Check.
Different Armors/Weapons with Different Uses: Check.
Different Job Build: Check.
Levelling: Check.

There's a Boss Level at every 4th level and Satan is the 3rd Boss. Go do your maths.

Technically should be able to finish the game in at most a couple of hours, since its only what, 12 levels? But not sure how many hours I've wasted restarting and even going online for some writeups. Must have been in the thousands.. And initially I mistakenly thot the Boss of Level 2 is Satan since he seems to be invincible at that time.

One of the good RPG apps for Iphone so far!!! Just that it tends to make you wanna throw away your phone in frustration. Like how I killed myself thrice while throwing mp pots for exploding the Boss after clearing numerous levels!

Finally done with it. Now what?

This is quite the good guide from Super Rats thou all I do is set up my tripod, put the camera on super long exposure or super small apertures, press the shutter, and wait. Other stuff shall be fixed with the Canon/Panasonic software.

On a sidenote, I bought this book from Kino Liang Court the other day.

Its all in Japanese (not that I know how to read such big chunks), and seems like the most impt factor is still... Lighting.

大姐頭的書, 熬了不知幾年終於有臉見人了!

網絡預購後, 沒等多久就在放工到家後看到一個大包裝在書桌上. 起初還以為是我網購了什麼玩具, 拿起才發現原來是書來了! 興奮興奮. 那時本來只是打算回家丟包包再出門找動物們的, 怎知包裹來了, 拆了之後整本就這樣拿在手裡跑了出去.

利用了我讀 Dan Brown 書本的速度... 一天半, 或嚴格來說, 5小時+/-, 書蟲啃完了.

還好是打橫的, 要不然還真是會累死我的脖子上下上下地動著. 那些打直的我還真的會花很久, 很久, 很久.. 放在那邊收集灰塵. :P

很像在讀博客, 也有幾篇在博客里出現過. 蠻容易讀的.

最被《外公的豆腐乳》感動了.

This is one of the cutest sets in the collection, with the humans are sitting on a Haro each. Its similar to the OP Charagoroln where the crew are featured sitting on globes.

Don't really like the Kira duplication thou. Y not Dearka or Nicol!? Or a Haro on top of another Haro!?

A very old set from MegaHouse, in variant colors as you may notice from the clear plastics that is used for parts of the hair and clothes, and which is facing a very very bad case of plasticination.

My Lacus doesn't stay on her stand anymore (not that she does it well when she first arrive), her head drops with every minor movement, all the bases need each other to support their respective figure, and the stands are not balanced!!!

I'm not shooting other angles cos... I'm lazy to keep catching and fixing back the fallen limbs and body parts..

Very bad set.. to think that it costs so much ($50? $70? Only rem it was a limb and a leg worth) initially..

Profile of Cagalli Yula Athha just in case you do not know who I had been mumbling about for the past 10,000 posts..

This is the biggest Cagalli model I have, standing at close to the height of a MG Freedom, including base and a battery operated one, with some recorded phases from the anime which will be looped upon the press of a button.

It was pretty expensive at that time if my memory serves me right. Was a hesitation purchase. But still bought. Haha~

Love the Shinn and his sisters' hide-and-seek pose, as well as Dearka's pose. And Cagalli's in her pilot suit which she wore while piloting Strike Rogue! Nice score there for the designer to protray the feminine side of the female pilots~

There's 2 other dresses that Cagalli can be changed into, as well as the matching limbs for those outfits. I'm lazy to change them so its just a picture of the outfit I have her in in my cabinet.

Got this set from Taiwan way back on my first trip over in wat, 2006? It has been in the box all the way since till somewhere around last year where I finally took them out to display in my already squeezed cabinet.

Obviously an impulse buy since I actually already have the Cagalli for this set in office and the rest are just so-so.

Cant rem the impulse. Probably cos its cheap.. Hmmm...

Set 6 of the Gundam Heroines series, launched way back in Nov 2005 by Bandai, has probably the prettiest clothing of all.

Firstly Cagalli in her wedding gown, Lacus in a toned-down dress which she wore while managing Archangel (if I got it correct after so many years), the appearance of Meer Campbell and we have the Hawke sisters in their casual clothes probably on a shopping trip.

Other than Haro that keeps dropping, the semi-transparent piece of Cagalli's gown which I'm still not sure where exactly to place it, and the Hawke sisters not standing very stably, I have no complaints for this set! :D

Was clicking around Ebay (my fav pasttime these days) and came across this while I was looking for an iphone stand.

A STRAP ATTACHMENT FOR IPHONE!~~ Now I can finally put all my straps to use! Wahahhhaa~

Instructions at the back showing you how to affix the metal piece.

And the custom screwdriver.

See that 2 round holes? Got to remove the original screws from there, align the metal piece, and screw the special screws. Simple!

Here's the end product.

Costed me USD 15.30 + USD 6.00 shipping from Strapya. Cons, the charging cable gets loose very easily with that attachment!

But now Zoro can live on my iphone and assassinate me whenever he wants... hohohoh

As the year draws to a close, with a bit of reluctance somehow, bidding it goodbye and saying hello to another year of wisdom and experience.

Was pulled by Wendy days ago to her workplace where they had the annual draw-your-wishes-on-I-doubt-its-environmentally-frenly-inflatable-balls-and-release-them-into-the-river-for-an-arts-installation thingy. She got us one of those where we spent like 30 min doing mindless drawing, note: really mindless crap, doodles on the whole ball (others co-share on one ball)..

I only thot of 止 instead of 頂 after submitting.. that panel's co-drawn for JY as Wendy ran off somewhere after one panel. The Huat's from KY.

Mine with an out-of-place building that I drew over Wendy's super huge $ sign. Could have drawn a pencil instead. Haha~ The other one's Wendy's panel.

May 2011 be as good as the Rabbit sayangs the Dog.

There's only 10 boxes, but 4 x 3 islands = 12 pieces! Din do my maths properly.. Costed me in the region of $50, and I had the bad luck to have a duplicate of Piccolo and NO Sun Goku and the main piece is not from OP! *Rawrr!*

*Note: The Sun Goku was purchased from one of those shops in Japan. They din have the other main pieces thou.

No limbs to exchange with since the default limbs has joints at the shoulder blades, elbows, wrists, knees and ankles~

There's 4 hand parts for different poses and there's 3 (!!) swords!

Was actually trying to show the odd left hand glove with what looks like 6 fingers but ends up to be quite a nice shot. HAHA!

Like the box indicates, its fully poseable (ok 70%, her hand cant lift too high without her head getting in the way, and I dun think its possible to give her a yoga pose without her armor or hair falling apart), but I hate the stand as its very hard to get Saber attached to the plastic piece that holds her to the stand and then pose without getting the piece detached. So I've been posing without the stand for most parts.

Oh, and her body piece seems like it's gonna drop anytime..

And you'll noe what happen when you add yet another violent character to the bunch.

Headed over to Orchard Road during my off day to look at the ever-disappointing lightings to see what kind of disappointment I'll get this year.

Oh I believe this was actually part of my trip-to-Orchard-Road-for-Kino-and-look-at-lightings. Brought back a ton of books again.

As the competition for the most well-decorated building ceases to attract popularity (if I'm not wrong, it probably ceased altogether), a lot of the big names are not spending loads on creating the spirit of Christmas and are seen recycling their stuff (hints the same tree year in year out of Taka). Actually I wonder how they get that Taka tree in and get it out annually. Hmm..

Tangs has got to be the only decorated building down the stretch of Orchard.

Got these over Ebay and I'm 80% sure that it's a boot!! Damn!

Had a real hard time fixing them up as some of the joints doesnt fit well, which is characteristic of bootlegs. The colors on them are quite off.

Let alone the lousy printings on the character cards that are in the boxes.

The box looks quite normal from the outside but the packaging inside is kinda oversized!

Argh! Have to open my eyes and read the descriptions carefully the next time. Especially those that comes from HK/China!

Got this out-of-production set from CandyToyo, which came in a Ta-Q Bin (or something) delivery service.

This is the first Super Deformed set that featured Brooke, Edward Newgate, Marshall D. Teech and Monkey D. Garp.

And the Mini Merry II that Nami is riding on is just so cute~ Not forgetting the Mini Thousand Sunny that Chopper is on as well~

Made a very last min hastily arranged trip over to STGCC 2010 after procrastinating for most part of the weekend until someone popped the question. And also, there's a book fair and a book sale somewhere around the corner so that's killing quite a few birds together~

Thou I was left feeling kinda disappointed after the trip.

Firstly, I dun see much cosplayers around! And I was starting to think that they're the mascots of this kinda events!

Secondly, ermm.. where's the crowd? Being the afternoon of the last day doesnt make a good reason for the sparse visitor rates!

And where's the merchandises!? (Thou I still managed to picked up a few stuff but...)

These are my loot from the event. The gloomy bears comes in a set, and the cat in a box magnet was some gashapon entrance gift they've stuffed into my hands when I entered the door.

I so wanted those Tokidoki stamps but I had to buy some other useless items (notebooks, puzzles) to get it. Ended up didn't get those and got the Singpost Tofu instead. That Gloomy bear x Tofu was a grab and it came with a free notebook (I have too many freaking notebooks!).

Still cant justify the $15 entrance fee...

Bought this over at Earth-X together with the Vs Figures.

I just love how the whole diorama is so colorful! But due to aging/poor quality/watever, the dragon/monster painting behind had to be stuck on using superglue or uhu glue as the adhensives aint working anymore (not to mention that those left a sticky feeling on my fingers but they just aint wanna stick to the plastic!).

Purchased this set ages ago (somewhere in 2009) when the OP craze first struck me. Despite its size (2 to 3 inches tall), its a fully functional gashapon machine!

Assembly required. And if not for the years of Gunpla training, I'll have a worse time.
Stickers adorned most part of the machine, and even the "prizes" in the little capsules.

This is probably one of the first sets to feature Syaoran, my fav boy in my younger days, which had RR calling me a cradle snatcher. There wasn't much merchandises for Card Captor Sakura in those days as well so this set had me grabbing for Syaoran. (^ ^; )

Trying to keep track of all my old loots from Latendo, so would be posting several of my old sets, generally Gundams when I was having the Seed/Destiny (Kira x Cagalli) craze long long ago (5 years??).

When Latendo was still at Sunshine Plaza...

And I was still a little kid fresh out of school..

And when the yen exchange is still very favorable to SG. This Bandai set costs probably $30-$40~ It'll probably be in the $40-$50 range if it was manufactured now, just like those One Piece Figure Collection series.

This is definitely not the first set I bought, so there's no chronological order to the production. Simply goes by the first out of the display for me to take photos. Hoho~

Din really take care of them after unboxing and I'm now seeing some discoloration and I-dunno-wat's-that-greeny-thing-that-I-had-gotta-rid-of-in-the-computer-while-doing-post-production. Hmm... these wasn't placed anywhere damp!!

I really need to take care of my toys going forward. Danny Choo says dusting them weekly helps. Hmm I shall try on the BRS and Yamamotos and Canaan sitting on my desktop now.

Kateikyoshi Hitman REBORN! - Box Animal Real collection

Preordered these from Latendo as this seems to be the only set featuring all Team Vongola X's box animals (+ Hibird) at that time.

My favorite trio:
Natsu (Tsuna's box animal, 1st from left),
Uri (Gokudera's box animal, 2nd from left) and
Hibird (Hibari's pet, 3rd from right).

*Note: This came in just as we depart for Japan, so it stayed quite a while at Latendo and another while chucked somewhere while I fixed up the place to hang them.

We decided to head to Birdy's house for a game of Monopoly during one of our usual daily flying email exchanges.

Hmm.. actually I cant rem what sparked the sudden interest in Monopoly. So starts the planning, RR to lug her sis's board over, and the rest of us to meet up at Birdy's place.

And I was declared the "Chance Cow" of the day, as my dice got superly attracted to Chance lots.

If I'm not wrong, this belongs to me. Which also bankrupted me in the process.

And why so the title? Bcos of rows like this.. Only the Community Chest is open.

I started from filthy rich to being left with $2.. and a few pieces of IOUs.. and a few worthless properties that aint attracting trespassers. HAHA!

Probably we shld do this again, thou the stitch-giving laughters and heart pumping rows of houses are not very healthy..

Lei Garden & Adstra Gold Micro Brewery

We made a reservation at Lei Garden for some good food after RWS (it was full during lunch time when we showed up at their doors!). Heard plenty of good reviews about it.

The setting that's so European, seeing that the building was a British catholic school, but its a fully authentic Chinese restaurant! Interesting contrast!

This is extremely yummy!! All the essence of the ingredients extracted and providing their full omph to the flavor of the soup.

Thou its a bit pitiful thinking that it was still kicking in one of the tanks there a few minutes ago.

Goose or swan meat?? Cant rem, this was introduced by the headwaitress. Only rem it was some unique bird that we're eating.

AdstraGold Microbrewery

Had a good chat with the boss (since it was quite empty at that time). Seems that the beers are produced in batches and the concoction for each batch is seasonal. So its always offering different tastes to the customers, unless specially requested.

The place also serves as a showcase to interested investors who might wanna understand the process and the equipments before pumping in their money for a franchise.

Hmmm... I'm not used to the taste of the beer that I had thou.

Peranakan Museum

Paid a visit to the Peranakan Museum while bringing my KL friends around during one of my off days and boy, it was pretty interesting, more so if you're one of the millions of "Little Nonya" fans (I'm not).

Quite a fair bit of images warning...

The museum is divided into several galleries, each depicting a part of the life journey of a peranakan, from birth till death.

A hanging depiction that's very huge hovers above us as we enter the doors.

A peranakan fashioned settee for visitors to rest their legs at the reception area.

We entered the first gallery on the ground floor and was greeted by a video clip, with several peranakan portraits lining the sides of the wall and a few artefacts in the middle of the room, each telling its own history.

A very dedicate/elaborate and detailed piece of embroidery work.

Something to cover the food from flies?

We didn't really follow the map and just hopped into the next nearest gallery, which showcases the various aspects of a peranakan wedding.

Head gears and jewelleries.

The offerings and auspicious symbols that each side of the wedding couple must prepare.

The wedding procession, which is in a gallery of its own. Kinda creepy.

The typical peranakan living room.

The altar piece.

With again, elaborate embroidery threads decorating one end of the altar.

They have these experience boxes for visitors with itchy fingers to touch the artefacts.

Bed room? Or probably some furnitures on display.

The season exhibition during that time was Ramayana Revisited.

Despite knowing nuts about the great tale of Ramayana, the exhibits were arranged such a way to depict the story and paragraphs were located along the way to guide visitors thru.

The Peranakan Museum is a rather interesting museum even for Singaporeans to visit and learn about the peranakan culture. Entrance is only S$6 each if I'm not wrong.

Hmm.. Maybe we should have some Teochew museums la, Hokkien museum la, kinda stuff. Would be very interesting for the younger folks to learn about their origins (or the origins of their great grandfathers per say..)!

We made a short short visit to RWS next, about to try our luck at getting some tickets into USS. Internet's fully sold out!

They actually do have tickets available on site but since its DRIZZLING, we decided not to spend $60+ (or was it 70?) each for maybe 2 hours before it turns dark and with probable rides closed due to the rain.

Had been opening my eyes widely over in Japan and found the following figurine loots!

Oh my I simply love those shops that sells gashapons in individual pieces!! Hohoho~~ I can finally buy the individual pieces without getting the full set and those that are out of production!! Weee~~~

I so wanted to get the Chopper-Zoro but I seriously lacked the luck. Believed I opened1 Chopper-Usopp which I swopped with RR for Chopper-Luffy and then I opened a Chopper-Luffy again! which I also gave to RR. NO Chopper-Zoros!! Same thing happened at those rental displays! All the others EXCEPT CHOPPER-ZORO!!!

Argh! Gave up!

The bunch of One Piece straps that I had fallen trap to at those omiage shops.
There's the bunch of takoyaki series at the top left, the Choppers location specials for Nara and Arashiyama, the onsen series of Zoro and Chopper, the Shinsengumi series of Luffy, with a few other Panson Works straps at the very top and the Chopper birthday gem series.

The best part? I'm using an iPhone that doesn't accomodate straps! (=_=; )

My old love about 10 years ago! Found in Nakano. The face seems a bit too red thou. Looks like Cagalli went for a drink!

Grabbed these 2 from the omiage shop at Osaka Castle but till now, I have no idea what I wanna do with them.

Ok Birdy came across this gashapon machine for Kapibara, which is actually a series of plush dogs (about 4 or 5 of them), and this bird. And she was indeed aiming for a dog. But as the chinese saying goes, 傻人有傻福, she got the bird instead! (or maybe its her comrades looking for her..) We were all having a ball laffing at her luck! wahahha~~

And btw Birdy.. Namakemono means... sloth.

I was contemplating on this for probably the longest time, simply bcos I dunno BRS/dun understand the craze but it jus pops up in every corner of your eye!

I'll probably say the whole Chuo Dori of Akihabara is full of them!

2200 yen for all these!! That's a very good deal!

Tons of accessories and alternates, a base that is different from the other nendoroids, a DVD that contains the 50 min BRS anime and a how-to-assemble sheet which I nvr really go thru.

The DVD was actually sealed in a piece of paper folded into half and breaking it would actually spoil the cover! That's both environmental friendly and for security purposes!
